Obituary

Goff, Garry R., 76 of Centerville, Ohio died Sunday, January 8, 2012 at his home.

He was born January 24, 1935 in Elizabeth, WV., a son of the late William and Gay Goff.

Garry was a retired coal miner from Y&O Coal Company and an Army veteran of the Korean War. He loved to fish, hunt, frog gig, and cook.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Wayne and Charles Goff; a stepson, Kenny King.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Lowry Goff; three children, Rick (Debbie) Goff of Parkersburg, WV., Karen Williams of Holloway, OH, and Garry Goff of Arizona; five stepchildren, Gary Farnsworth of Macksburg, OH., Harry King, Jr., of Cambridge, OH., Vickie Scott of Reno, OH., Kay Whitehouse of Beverly, OH., and Mary Waggner of Cambridge, OH; four sisters, Shirley (Jack) Nay of Davisville, WV., Neva (Charles) Quick of Elizabeth, WV., June (Jim) Greenwalt of Walker, WV., and Judy (Junior) Scott of Elizabeth, WV; four brothers, Billy Goff of Bethesda, OH., Vic (Sondy) Goff of Belmont, OH., Glenn (Barb) Goff and Roger (Linda) Goff of Elizabeth, WV; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; special grandbaby, Chelsi.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 1 to 3 & 6 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg where services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday with Chaplain Ron Morgan officiating. Burial follows in Concord Cemetery, Centerville, OH.

Full military honors will be provided by the Belmont County Council of American Legions at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
