Gabriele Tongret, 63, of Barnesville, Ohio formerly of a St. Clairsville, died Sunday, April 26, 2015 at home. She was born in Berlin, Germany on July 15, 1951.

She was a daughter of the late Russell Horton Lane and Helga Helena Lane. Gabriele was former employee of Capitol Manufacturing in Lansing. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Paul A. Tongret Sr; a daughter, Amanda Tongret and a brother, Bernart Lane.

Surviving are her sons, David A. (Michele) Tongret of St. Clairsville and Paul A. Tongret Jr; five grandchildren, Alexis Emrisko, Logan Tongret, Ariel Roxby, Xavier and Jazmine; her special sis, Wendy (David) Mankin with whom she resided in Barnesville, brother, Andy (Tammy) Lane of Virginia, sisters, Angie (Andy) Saunders of Germany and Petra (George) Hoitt of New Jersey; several nieces and nephews; and her loyal companions, Peppy and Sadie.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Thursday from 11 a.m. until time of Services at 1 p.m. with Pastor Joe Thornton officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Belmont Dialysis or Belmont County Senior Services.
