Obituary
Fredric Joseph Van Nest, 71, of Carmichaels, Pennsylvania, formerly of Waynesburg, died September 19, 2014 at his home.
He was born in Bellaire, Ohio on February 23, 1943, son of the late Joseph Benjamin Van Nest and Geraldine McMillian Van Nest.
Fred was a former employee of Koratich's Golden Rail in Waynesburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother Elda Mae Ward Van Nest; brothers-in-law; and a niece.
Surviving are his four sisters, Sylvia Jean Hood and Shirley Jean Baker both of Shelbyville, Indiana, Pearl Wilmetta Van Nest of Bellaire, Ohio and Nancy Ann (Mitch) Toto of Morristown, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends in Carmichaels and Waynesburg.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home.
