FRED WEBB

On Tuesday, December 22, 2020, Frederick Eugene Webb, loving husband and father, passed away at age 74 in his home.

Fred was born on March 25, 1946 in Jamestown, Ohio to Eugene and Marvalee (Powell) Webb. On January 11, 1969, he married Carol Ann Hursey. They raised two daughters, Nora and Dana.

Fred was preceded in death by his daughter, Nora; mother, Marvalee; grandmother, Nora and father, Eugene.

He is survived by his loving wife Carol; daughter, Dana (Deron Jackson), sisters in law Donna (Joe) Ball, Helen (Fred) Emert, and Marian (Dale) Stalter; brother Tom (Marcella) Webb; nieces, Lori Lipsey and Jennifer Puckett and nephew, Tom Webb.

Fred graduated from Greeneview High School in 1964 and then joined the Air Force.  Following the Service, he worked as a welder for Consol until his retirement.  During retirement Fred enjoyed creating beautiful furniture and wood working crafts that he gave to his family and friends as gifts to treasure for years to come.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or The Ohio State University Medical Center.
