Freda D. Burdine, age 69, of Glencoe, died Friday, October 28, 2005 at her home. She was born August 11, 1936 in Bellaire, daughter of the late John W and Bessie Weekley Sawyers.

Freda was a member of the Glencoe American Legion Auxiliary.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Burdine; two sisters, Mary Sawyers and Nora Hudson; and a brother, Frank Sawyers.

Surviving are her children, Bud Burdine, John Burdine and Patty Early all of Glencoe, Tina Bumgardner of Neffs and Bob Bailey of St. Clairsville; a sister, Elizabeth Kopyar of Belmont; a brother, Robert Sawyers of Powhatan Point; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where services will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Warnock Cemetery.
