Fred E. "Buck" Early, 67, of Belmont, Ohio died November 9, 2020 in Wheeling Hospital.

He was born December 18, 1952 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, son of the late Roy Nick Early and Eleanor Hoffman Early.

Buck was a coal miner at Shoemaker Mine and a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the American Legion in Benwood, WV.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Nickiegene Early and a sister, Rhonda Lynn Early.

Surviving are his wife, Shirley Bates Early; two daughters, Marsha Archer and Michele (Chooch) Littleton; three stepchildren; a sister, Sis (Bill) Williams; three granddaughters; two grandsons and a great granddaughter.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic there will be no public visitation or service.  Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home.
