Franklin Gray "Frank" Reed, 58 of Maple Ave., St. Clairsville died Wednesday, December 22, 2004 at Park Health Center in St. Clairsville.

He was born July 20, 1946 in Bellaire. A son of the late John Franklin Reed and Geneva Gray Chipps Reed.

He was a retired truck driver, a Marine Corp veteran of the Vietnam Era, a member of the Saints Club, American Legion Post 159, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2541 all of St. Clairsville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold "Gene" Reed and George C. Reed.

Surviving are his wife, Joan Adams Reed; a daughter, Rebecca Reed of St. Clairsville; a grandson, Franklin Joseph Reed; sister, Treva Spehar of St. Clairsville; and brother, Ronald C. Reed of Martins Ferry.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Thursday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday with Pastor Jeff Lewis officiating. Burial follows in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
