Frank Plewniak, 82 of Park Drive, St. Clairsville died Friday, March 24, 2006 at Wheeling Hospital.
He was born in Dillonvale, Ohio on November 30, 1923 a son of the late John and Sophia Plewniak
Frank was a retired machinist and foreman for Tri-State Machine of Wheeling, a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church at St. Clairsville, American Legion Post 159 at St. Clairsville and was an Army veteran of World War II.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Irene Zuzak Plewniak; brothers John and Joseph Plewniak and sisters Helen Cefus and Wanda Van Beneden.
He is survived by his wife Lillian Wojchowski Plewniak; stepsons Donald (Nellie) Cetorelli of St. Clairsville and Brian (Linda) Cetorelli of Bellaire; sisters Mildred Kovaleski of Dillonvale and Geneva Chrisagis of Tiltonsville; grandsons Adam Cetorelli, Joseph Wheeler, Pete (Paula) Perticarini and Steve (Lisa) Perticarini; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with Vigil services at 4 p.m. Funeral Liturgy with mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Mary?s Catholic Church, St. Clairsville with Father Christopher Foxhoven as celebrant.
Belmont County Council of the American Legion will conduct military honors Tuesday following the Mass at St. Mary?s Church.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Mary?s Church Building Fund, 212 W. Main Street, St. Clairsville, Ohio 43950.
