Frank Goletz, age 96, of Maynard, died Wednesday, February 4, 2004 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling. He was born August 12, 1907 at Crescent, Ohio, son of the late Albert and Mary Klich Goletz.
He was a retired employee of Consolidation Coal Company, Georgetown # 10 mine, a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church at Maynard and a member of the PNA Lodge # 455 at Maynard.
In addition to his parents Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Cecelia Stachyra Goletz; two brothers, John Goletz and an infant brother, John; two sisters, Mary Libertosky and Agnes Garczyk.
Surviving are his two sons, Frank A. Goletz and his wife Marianne and Edward Goletz and his wife Barb all of Maynard; a daughter, Jean Kanoski and her husband Dick of Columbus, OH; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
Family and Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 6, 2004 at 10 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Maynard with Fr. Thomas Graven the celebrant. Burial follows at Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.

Vigil services will be held at 3:00 p.m. followed by PNA Services at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
