Obituary

Frank J. Gallaher, age 64, of Pipe Creek Road, Jacobsburg, died Sunday, May 1, 2005 at his home.

He was born August 7, 1940 at Powhatan Point, Ohio, son of the late Ben and Elizabeth Gallaher.

Frank was a former employee of Powhatan Coal Company # 3 mine at Jacobsburg for over 18 years and former employee of J & C Towing in Wheeling.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by a brother, Carl; and two sisters, Hilda and Audrey.

Surviving are his wife, Patricia Gallaher; a daughter, Sheila Brown of Moundsville, West Virginia; a son, Richard Gallaher of Prescott, Arizona; two grandchildren, Savanna and Hunter; two brothers, Ben and Fred both of Powhatan Point; three sisters, Frances and Margie both of Powhatan Point and Mabel of Lumberport, West Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Wednesday, May 4, 2005 from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m., with Rev. Ron Price officiating. Burial will follow in Powhatan Cemetery.
