Donda, Frank, 89, of St. Clairsville, died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010 at his home.
He was born in St. Clairsville on April 20, 1920, son of the late Anton "Andy" and Frances Vild Donda.
Frank was a retired die setter from the International Harvester Plant in Shadyside, Ohio. He attended the East Richland Friends Church; he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion Post 159 in St. Clairsville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Sherba.
Frank is survived by his loving wife, Myrtle Louise Boich Donda; two sons, Frank E. (Lynn) Donda of St. Clairsville and Gregory L. (Shelley) Donda of Westerville, Ohio; a sister, Bessie Hoffman of Wheeling; a brother, Joe Donda of St. Clairsville; six grandchildren, Heather Lynne, Trevor James, Sommer Marie, Ashley B., Amber Nicole, Zachary Lee and a great granddaughter, Makayla Rylee.
Private Services were held at the convenience of the family at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville with Rev. Wayne Ickes officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville. Full Military Honor Services were conducted by the Belmont County Council of American Legions.
