Frank Edward Donda, 70, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Saturday, June 3, 2017 doing what he loved, riding his motorcycle, while participating in a fund raiser for Alzheimers.
He was born October 20, 1946 in Wheeling, WV a son of Myrtle Boich Donda and the late Frank Donda.
Frank was a long haul professional truck driver, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era, was a member of East Richland Evangelical Friends Church, and the American Legion, and was a motorcycle enthusiast.
His love of music led him to become a sound engineer assisting many bands and churches over the years.
Surviving in addition to his mother of St. Clairsville, are his wife, Lynn Anderson Donda; three children, Heather, Trevor, and Sommer all of St. Clairsville; a brother, Greg (Shelley) Donda of Sunbury, Ohio; a granddaughter, Makayla.
Friends will be received at East Richland Friends Church on Friday from 1 to 3 p.m. and from 5 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. with Rev. Jerry Wenger officiating.
Friends are then invited to gather at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. to join in a funeral procession to the Union Cemetery in St. Clairsville concluding with a committal service at 11 a.m.
Belmont County Veteran's Association will provide full Military Honors on Friday at 6:45 p.m. at the church.
