Frank Robert "Bob" Kanopsic Sr., 69 of St. Clairsville died February 23, 2017 in OVMC in Wheeling.
He was born March 13, 1947 in Martins Ferry, Ohio son of G. Ada Yates Kanopsic and the late Frank Kanopsic.
He was a retired certified master electrician working for Xerox, Staley Communications, Blaw-Knox and Tec No Cap over his career. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and brother and he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was known as Frank to some and Bob to many. He was a member of Thoburn United Methodist Church; the NRA and bowled for many years at St. Clair Lanes. Bob enjoyed the family farm and was an avid outdoorsman.
Surviving in addition to his mother, Ada Kanopsic of St. Clairsville are his loving wife of 46 years, Della Maxwell Kanopsic; a daughter, Anita (Rick Glass) Kanopsic of St. Clairsville; a son, Frank R. "Bob" (Tisha) Kanopsic Jr. of Jacobsburg; two grandchildren, Michael and Samara Kanopsic; a sister, Linda (Jim) Garczyk of Maynard; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where Services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Ray and Rev. Cathy Ake officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
Full Military Honors will be conducted at the grave by the Belmont County Veterans Association.
