Francisco "Frank" Perez, 96, of Martins Ferry, Ohio, formerly of Pittsburgh, PA died September 10, 2017 in Liza's Place, Wheeling, WV. He was born in Canton, Ohio, but was raised in France having returned to the US when he was 18 years old.

Frank retired from Park Schenley Restaurant after a lifelong career in the restaurant business. He actually coined the name "LeMont" when the owners of Park Schenley opened their new restaurant in Mt. Washington. Frank was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and served on the U.S.S. Portent which was sunk after battle on January 22, 1944.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Myrtle Boyles Perez; second wife, Lauretta Rossi Perez; and a son-in-law, Jack Greenwood.

Surviving are his daughters, Anita Greenwood of St. Clairsville and Maria (Ron) Holmes of Pittsburgh; granddaughters, Tabitha Fulst, Lauren and Amanda Holmes; great grandchildren, Gabrielle and Mackenzie Fulst; and a brother, Jean Perez of France.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 4 – 8 p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home, 700 Linden Ave. at Cable, East Pittsburgh, PA 15112, where Services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Burial with full military honors will be held in Penn Lincoln Cemetery.

Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville is assisting the family with local arrangements.
