Vaughan, Frances Paszke, 97, of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Elm Grove, West Virginia, died Sunday, December 9, 2007 at Crown Pointe Care Center in Columbus.
She was born in Neffs, Ohio on December 23, 1909, a daughter of the late John and Rose Czarnecki Paszke.
Frances was a homemaker and member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Elm Grove. She was a member of the Catholic Women?s Club; the Elm Grove Women?s Club and attended Bellaire High School.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Vaughan; her brothers, Stanley, John and Frank Paszke; and her sister, Laura Plahuta.
Surviving are her sister, Helen Fijalkowski of Columbus, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, with Rev. James R. LaCrosse, S.M. officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
