Floyd E. Schnegg, age 90, of Colerain, Ohio, died Monday, February 24, 2003 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. He was born June 16, 1912 at Clover Ridge, Ohio, son of the late Lewis and Leota Fraley Schnegg.

He was a retired employee from Consolidation Coal Company?s Georgetown Operations; he was a member of the Colerain United Presbyterian Church at Colerain and Belmont Lodge #16 F. & A.M. at St. Clairsville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edna M. Gates Schnegg; a grandson, David Schnegg; and a brother, Starling Schnegg.

Surviving are his son, Francis Schnegg and his wife Sue of Colerain; a brother, George Paul Schnegg and his wife Caroline "Toots" of St. Clairsville; a grandson, Scott Schnegg and his wife Dana of Adena; a granddaughter, Debra Lucas and her husband Josh of Columbus, OH; and two great grandsons, Zachary and Nathan Schnegg.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Visitation will also be held at the Colerain United Presbyterian Church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. with Rev. John Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio. Masonic services will be held on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home by Belmont Lodge # 16 F. & A.M.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Colerain United Presbyterian Church or the Colerain Volunteer Fire and Emergency Department.
