Floyd C. Moore, 92, of Powhatan Point, Ohio went home to be with the Lord March 17, 2020 in Mound View Nursing Home.

He was born July 6, 1927, son of the late Elmer and Mary H. Conner Moore.

Floyd was a member of Amity United Methodist Church in Steinersville. He had worked in the coal and railroad industries.

In addition to his parents, Floyd was preceded in death by a sister, Helen McVay and two brothers, Donald and Homer Moore.

Surviving are a cousin who was his caretaker, Mary McVay of Moundsville and nieces and nephews.

There will be a private interment in Powhatan Cemetery, Powhatan Point, Ohio. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mound View Nursing Home.
