CLARK, Floyd J., 91, of Neffs, Ohio died April 5, 2013 at Ohio Valley Medical Center.
He was born April 12, 1921 in Stewarstville, Ohio, son of the late Albert Clark and Marie Louise LaSsagne Clark.
Floyd was a retired employee from North American Coal Co. Powhatan #1 Mine. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II; a member of the Neffs American Legion Post 77 and the United Mine Workers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James A. Clark and Kenneth Clark.
Surviving are his loving wife, Evelyn Slanc Clark; a son, Timothy A. Clark of Charleston, WV; a daughter, Cathy Bruce of St. Clairsville; a sister, Jacqueline Mehl of Key, OH; 5 grandchildren, Heather Pavlich, Heidi Isbell, Tiffany Clark, Ty Clark and Tanner Clark; 3 great grandchildren, Caitlyn, Tara and Christina; a great great granddaughter, Cambria.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Neffs United Methodist Church on Saturday at 1 p.m. with Rev. John Jackson officiating.
Arrangements entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
Full Military Honors will be celebrated by the Belmont County Council of American Legions on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the church.
