Florence G. Kartman, 83 of Key, Ohio died Sunday, April 13, 2003 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born April 25, 1919 at Spiedel, Ohio a daughter of the late Clem and Ethel Carpenter Wittmer.

Florence was a home maker, a member of the Coalbrook Presbyterian Church at Neffs and Shadyside Chapter #581 Order of Eastern Star.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Charles Karkoska, her second husband Louis Kartman, a daughter, Carol Sibiga, a brother Emery Wittmer and two sisters, Annabelle and Lela.

Surviving are her sons, Amos Karkowski of Pipe Creek and Paul Kartman of Key, thirteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

Friends will be received Tuesday 7 to 9 and Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at the Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg where services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.

Eastern Star services will be Wednesday at 7 pm
