Florence L. Baker DeVaul, 84, of Colerain, Ohio died Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry.
She was born at Wheeling, West Virginia on April 11, 1923, a daughter of the late Charles H. and Ethel Shrader Baker.
Florence was a retired cook from Martins Ferry High School and Belmont County Head Start.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, David Lee DeVaul; a grandson, David Lewis Schnegg; and a brother, Henry Baker.
Surviving are her husband, Harold L. DeVaul; a daughter Sue (Francis) Schnegg of Colerain; five grandchildren, Scott (Dana) Schnegg of Colerain, Debbie (Josh) Lucas of Colerain, Joanna Richardson of Columbus, Doug (Michelle) DeVaul of Columbus and Donna Clark of Wisconsin; 11 great grandchildren; and a brother, Leroy C. (Freda) Baker of Wintersville, Ohio.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio where services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jeff Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove.
