Obituary
Florence E. "Flo" Brown, 90, of Shadyside, formerly of Jacobsburg, died December 31, 2017 in Shadyside Care Center.
She was born December 21, 1927 in Bellaire, Ohio, daughter of the late Clinton and Gertrude Conrad Jackson.
Flo was a homemaker and member of Hillcrest Bible Church in Bethesda.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Harce M. Brown Sr.; two sons, George Brown and Harce Brown Jr.; three brothers and two sisters.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda (Rick) McCabe of Bellaire; a son, Morris (Jo Evelyn) Brown of Rocky Top, TN; a loving granddaughter and caregiver, Tammy (Bill) Crozier of Bellaire; three special great grandchildren, Levi, Cari and Maci Crozier all of Bellaire; a dear niece, Irene Smith of Hilton Head, SC; a good friend, Roberta Duvall of Barnesville; all her loving family from Cleveland and Tennessee; 17 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren and her favorite dog, Duke.
Family and friends will be received on Friday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg where services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jack Palmer officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Hill Cemetery, Bellaire.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hillcrest Bible Church.
