Thompson, Flaminia "Lena," 90, formerly of Neffs, Ohio, died Friday, January 4, 2008, in Loganville, Georgia.
She was born in Glencoe, Ohio on December 9, 1917, daughter of the late Augusto Regoli and Guilia Accica Regoli.
Lena was a homemaker; a member of the Neffs United Methodist Church; and a charter member of the American Legion Auxiliary No. 632 in Glencoe.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Hudson Thompson; a son, Gerald L. Thompson; a son-in-law, Dr. Robert Holsinger; three brothers; and three sisters.
Surviving are her daughter, Linda T. Holsinger of Grayson, Georgia; four grandsons, Gerald, Michael, Mark and Christopher Thompson; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Flavia Bostancic of St. Clairsville; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. at the Neffs United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Donald Cordery officiating.
A private burial was held at the convenience of the family in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Bellaire. Arrangements entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
