Gerald Keith "Fizz" Skukan, age 64, of St. Clairsville, died Friday, August 6, 2004 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, Ohio. He was born March 11, 1940 at Neffs, Ohio, son of the late Frank "Jack" Skukan and Audrey Blon Skukan.

Fizz was a retired Iron Worker with Local # 549 at Wheeling and a Methodist by faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Skukan.

Surviving are a son, Jeffrey (Kim) Skukan of St. Clairsville; two daughters, Lesa Skukan of Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania and Carla Skukan of Paramount , California; a brother, Jack Lee Skukan of Cincinnati , Ohio; and two grandchildren, Haylee and Colton Skukan; a nephew, Brian; nieces, Jacqueline and Bobbi Jo all of Cincinnati, Ohio; cousins, Ken and Suz Pubal of Morristown.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where services will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2004 at 1 p.m., with Rev. Gerald Blon officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens , Pleasant Grove , Ohio.
