Obituary
Evelyn Marie Spoon, 78, of St. Clairsville died July 9, 2017 at her home.
She was born in St. Clairsville, Ohio on November 17, 1938, daughter of the late Robert Strain and Olive Margaret McGarry Strain.
Evelyn was a retired employee of Kroger's. She loved her family and friends. She also enjoyed watching soap operas and going to the casino.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Spoon Sr. and her sister, Margaret Strain.
Surviving are her three children, Vivian (John Callarik) Stewart of St. Clairsville, Beverly Frazier of Shadyside and Alfred (Daisy) Spoon Jr. of St. Clairsville; two brothers, Robert (Barbara) Strain of St. Clairsville and Joe (Beverly) Strain of Caldwell; a sister, Susie Strain of St. Clairsville; 5 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation. Private services held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home.
