Kimmel, Evelyn J. of St. Clairsville, Ohio was born August 13, 1925 in Sharpsburg, PA., a daughter of the late Robert Sweepe and Irene Barrott Sweepe.

Evelyn accepted the invitation from her four brothers, Walt, Paul, Robert, and William, and her three sisters, Dorothy, Virginia, and Betty to join them in heaven for a new year's celebration.

Evelyn will be sadly missed by her husband of 64 years, Sylvester; daughters, Carol (John) Phillips, Sally (Skip) Butterworth, Mary Ann Corrigan; and son, Mark (Tammy) Kimmel; brothers, Richard of Tuscon, AZ., and William of Pittsburgh, PA; grandchildren, Jeff, Jeremy, Alice, Megan, Tyler, Jason, Ben, and Maggie; great granddaughter, Sydney.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. where services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Fr. Thomas Chillog officiating. Entombment follows in Holly Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Valley Hospice's Liza's Place, 308 Mt. St. Joseph Rd., Wheeling, WV. 26003.
