Evaleen M. Johnson, age 82, of Pennsville, New Jersey, formerly of St. Clairsville, died Saturday, September 10, 2005 at Park Health Center in St. Clairsville. She was born in St. Clairsville, Ohio on January 18, 1923 a daughter of the late William S. and Glenna Rauschenburg McLaughlin.

Evaleen was a member of Deepwater Methodist Church in Deepwater, New Jersey.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. Raymond Johnson; a son, William H. Beall; and two sisters, Winifred J. Rice and Lillian McLaughlin.

Evaleen is survived by her grandsons, Keith Beall of St. Clairsville and J.B. Beall of Montevideo, Minnesota; a daughter-in-law, Peggy Beall of St. Clairsville; three stepchildren, Ray Jr., Joann and Leslie; and a special friend of 73 years, Norma Haught.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of services at 12:00 (Noon) at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, with Rev. Dr. Bradley Call officiating. Burial follows in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
