Eugene Joseph "Gene" Lucresio, Jr., 82, of Shadyside, Ohio, died October 31, 2023, at his home.

He was born March 19, 1941, in Bellaire, Ohio, a son of the late Eugene Joseph Lucresio, Sr. and Vicky Malik Lucresio.

Gene was a retired employee of Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel and a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Shadyside. Gene enjoyed drag racing, cleaning his cars and farming.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Diane McHenry Lucresio; a brother, Tom Lucresio; a sister-in-law, Sue Lucresio; a brother-in-law, Dana McHenry; a niece, Judy Kinemond; and his mother-in-law, Joyce McHenry.

Surviving is his daughter, Christy (Bill) Taylor; a granddaughter, Samantha (Jake Keen) Taylor; and two great grandchildren, Ryatt Keen and Jaxson Keen; a nephew, Bruce (Rayna) Lucresio, and several cousins.

Honoring Gene's wishes there will be no public services, Private service will be held for family and close friends on December 3rd. Arrangements were entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg.
