Ethelene Laizure Bumgarner, 96, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Park Health Center.

She was born March 26, 1920 in Echo, Ohio, daughter of the late Mable and Emmett Laizure.

Ethelene was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and a member of Thoburn United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry G. Bumgarner; her son, Harry L. "Butch" Bumgarner; her daughter-in-law, Nancy Jean Paxton Bumgarner; her son-in-law, Gilmore A. Mickley.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and James Davenport, her daughter, Linda (Rick Brown) Mickley; her seven grandchildren, James (Laurie) Davenport II, Adam (Annie) Bumgarner, Jason (Francine) Davenport, Aaron (Andrea) Bumgarner, Regan (Jeff) Toothman, Wade (Karen Friedt) Mickley and Vickey Mickley; her fourteen great grandchildren, Kaylee, James and Ryan Davenport, Nora and Patricia Bumgarner, Katelynne, Jason and Dylan Davenport, Lexi, Taylor, Abbey and Wyatt Toothman, Jessica and Rachel Friedt.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Thursday from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m., with Pastors Adam Davis and Kenneth Gifford officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
