Ethel Marie Perkins, 87, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died December 29, 2022, in Forest Hill Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born May 18, 1935, in Armstrongs Mills, Ohio, a daughter of the late Alton Goff and Violet Marie Haught Goff.

Ethel was a 1953 graduate of Powhatan High School and had worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Armstrongs Mills and the Edax Corporation in Prairie View, Illinois. She was a member of Thoburn United Methodist Church in St. Clairsville. Ethel enjoyed traveling, visiting family, cooking and baking.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John "Jack" Perkins; four brothers, Edgar, Larry "Dick", Michael, and Nelson Goff; two sisters, Phyllis and Florence Goff; two sisters-in-law, Mary and Carolyn Goff; and a brother-in-law, Howard Baker.

Ethel is survived by her three children, Jackie (Paul) Jadrich, Cinda (Gordon) Hoover, and Tim (Edna) Perkins; a sister, Weltha Baker; two brothers, Roscoe (Bonnie) Goff and Douglas Goff; a sister-in-law, Mary Goff; six grandchildren, Gordon (Brenda) Hoover Jr., Erica Hoover, Bryan Jadrich, Rebecca (Jeremy) Kendall, Lauren (Jerry) Forbes, and T. J. (Kate) Perkins; 13 great grandchildren, Cody and Trevor Russell, Tamara Luff, Olivia and Lily Hoover, Mitchel (Grace), Justin (Dani), and Ryan (Chloe) Hoover, Hannah, Chloe and Joshua Forbes, Mason and Riley Kendall; a great-great grandson, Cricket Hoover; a cousin and close friend, Eileen "Molly" Trigg.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, Jan. 2 ^nd from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dave St. Aubin officiating. Burial will follow in Armstrong Cemetery, Armstrongs Mills, Ohio.
