EGY, Ethel Mae Lukasko, 83, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died Saturday, August 22, 2009 in East Ohio Regional Hospital.
She was born on April 23, 1926 in Midway, Ohio, daughter of the late John and Ida Mae Coleman Lukasko.
Ethel was retired from St. Clairsville-Richland City Schools Cafeteria. She was a member of Thoburn United Methodist Church where she was a member of the McKelvey Class.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Philip J. "Fid" Egy; a brother, John Lukasko; and a great grandson, Blake Brown.
Surviving are three daughters, Evelyn (Gerry) Zemelka of St. Clairsville, Patty (Tom) Rinkes of Colerain and Cindy (Tom) Lemon of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 5 grandchildren, Heather Brown, Paul Rinkes, Elizabeth Shephard, Thomas Lemon and Philip Lemon; 6 great grandchildren, Kaleb and Lynnzie Brown, Hailey and Ryan Shephard, Nicholas and Chloe Lemon; 10 nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio, where services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Dr. Bradley Call officiating. Burial follows in Union Cemetery in St. Clairsville.
