Ernest Willard "Ernie" White, 79 of Centerville, Ohio died Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Adena Health and Rehabilitation Center in Harrisville, Ohio.
He was born January 23, 1936 in Centerville, Ohio, a son of the late Arthur Willard White and Violet Sarah Fitch White.
Ernie was retired from Belmont County Engineers Road Crew. He loved bowling and golfing, was a regular at St. Clair Lanes in St. Clairsville, and was a lifetime Cleveland Browns fan.
Surviving are three daughters, Deanna Dupler of Buchtel, Ohio, Dianna (Dale) Carpenter of Pleasant Grove, Ohio, and Kristin Bom of Centerville, Ohio; two sisters, Wilma Gast of Newark, Ohio and Doris Jean (Bill) Britton of St. Clairsville, Ohio; 5 grandchildren, Kala Phillips, Justine Carpenter, Colton Dupler, Ciara and Jayden Bom; 2 great grandsons, Remy and Tenzin Phillips.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m. where services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday.
Interment follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
