Ernest E. "Ed" Williams, 67, of Wegee Rd., Shadyside, Ohio, died Monday, October 26, 2015 at Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
He was born February 8, 1948 in Bellaire, Ohio, a son of the late Arthur A. Williams and Mabel Smith Williams.
He was a former employee of North American Coal Company's No. 3 mine, Shadyside Casket Plant, a truck driver for Mead Township, and a member of Jacobsburg Bible Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Stella Mae Holden.
Surviving are his loving wife of 46 years, Esther L. Taylor Williams; three children, Ernest "Eddie" Williams, Jr. of Lakeland, FL, Arthur L. Williams, Sr. of Shadyside, and Theresa Kay (Brad) Jenkins of Neffs; two brothers, Arthur E. "Whitey" Williams of Bellaire and James R. "Bobby" Williams of Willow Grove; two sisters, Gladys Bellville of Jacobsburg and Kay Ann Shelkey of Bellaire; three grandchildren, Devin Michael Williams, Arthur Lee Williams, Jr., and his special little "angel", Kaylee Theresa Jenkins; several step grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service at Noon with Pastor Randy Weaver officiating.
Burial follows in Powhatan Cemetery.
