Ernest M. "Ernie" Turley, 60, of Uniontown, Ohio, died Sunday, March 20, 2005.

He was born November 16, 1944, in Colerain, Ohio, son of the late Milton Turley and Eleanor Ondusko Turley Wonski.

Ernie was a retired employee of North American Coal Company Powhatan # 3 mine and Cobre Tire Company in Cambridge. He was a member of the Church of Christ in St. Clairsville; a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War; and a member of the Bethesda Sportsmen?s Club.

Surviving are his wife, Donna Swann Turley; a son, Eric Turley and his wife Crystal of Strasburg, Ohio; a daughter, Sheri Pinkston and her husband Jim of Uniontown; two grandsons, Tyler and Travis Pinkston; three brothers, Albert Turley and Michael Wonski both of Uniontown and Roger Turley of Bannock; three sisters, Shirley Mort of Uniontown, Brenda McCormick and Kathy Meade both of Freeport, Ohio.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of services at 12 Noon, with Everett Hutson officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.

The Belmont County Council of American Legions will have services at 7 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home.
