Ernest H. "Butch" Brunner, III of Gibbon Drive, Shadyside died Sunday, August 15, 2004 at his home.
He was born at Wheeling on March 16, 1949 a son of Ernest and Hazel Agin Brunner.
Butch was a retired employee of the former North American Coal No. 1 mine at Powhatan Point and an avid Cleveland Indians fan.
He was preceded in death by a son, Lance C. Brunner and his fiancee, Josie Wilson.
Surviving are his children, Ernie VanDyne of Beallsville; Candy Ferguson of Woodsfield; Heather Eyler of Massillon, Ohio and Melissa Stevens of Holmesville, Ohio; his father, Ernest Brunner of Shadyside; his mother, Hazel Howell of Powhatan Point; his brothers, Ronnie Brunner of Powhatan Point and Mark Brunner of Jacobsburg and 12 grandchildren.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg where services will be held Wednesday at 12 Noon. Burial will follow in the Armstrong Cemetery, Armstrongs Mills, Ohio.
