Emily Sue Laurent Harris, 72 of Colerain, Ohio died Sunday, November 26, 2006 at the home of her son in Colerain.

She was born August 15, 1934 in Shreveport, Louisiana, daughter of the late Louis N. Laurent and Marie Sale Laurent.

Emily was a Registered Nurse Anesthetist, a retired employee of McGraw Nursing Home in Pleasant Grove, Ohio and a Catholic by faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Harris MD; and a special cousin, Floy G. Land.

Surviving are her children, Jeri L. Sanders-Mesler and her husband Charley of Channelview, Texas., William G. Harris II of Colerain, Ohio., John A. Harris and his wife Robin of Ruston, Louisiana; special friend/son, Todd W. Clutter of Colerain, Ohio.; four grandchildren, Melissa, Leila, McKenzie, and Alex.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio where services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Henry Mooney officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
