Obituary
Stephens, Elsie Marie, 89, of Jacobsburg, Ohio died Friday, November 27, 2009 at her home. She was born on December 7, 1919 in Jacobsburg, Ohio, daughter of the late William and Sevilla Weil Kriechbaum.
Elsie was a homemaker, a Methodist by faith and loved flowers and gardening.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit S. Stephens; four brothers, Sherman, Arthur, Ernest and Russell Kriechbaum; and a sister, Emma Baker.
Surviving are her son, Kevin S. Stephens of Jacobsburg and his fiancée, Karen Tanley of St. Clairsville; a daughter Kathy Potts and her husband Jack of Powhatan Point; 2 grandchildren, Stacey and Tyler Potts.
Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m., where services will be held on Monday at 1 p.m., with Rev. Leon Blaise officiating. Burial will follow in Powhatan Cemetery.
