Elroy Vernon Sells, 91 of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Thursday, May 20, 2010 at his home.
He was born May 22, 1918 in Belmont, Ohio, a son of the late Roy A. Sells and Lillian Marmie Sells.
He was a retired foreman from Consolidation Coal Company with 42 years of service. He was a Christian, and an Army veteran of WWII.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Ballog Sells; sisters, Edna Jackson, Betty Sells Frasier; a brother, Samuel Arnold Sells.
Surviving are a son, David Sells with whom he resided in St. Clairsville; a daughter, Gloria Sells of Yorkville; a sister, Doris Jackson of Orlando, FL.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Sunday from 4 to 9 p.m. where services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. with Father Anthony Batt officiating. Burial follows in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
