Obituary

Kinney, Ella Dee, 84, of Armstrongs Mills, died on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at Shadyside Care Center surrounded by her children.

She was born March 30, 1923 in Barnesville, Ohio, daughter of the late Samuel and Carrie Hunt Harper.

Ella was a homemaker and a member of the Armstrongs Mills United Methodist Church. One of the joys in her life was watching finches, redbirds and other wildlife.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Kinney; a son, Randy Kinney; 3 brothers, Ammon, Charles and Lloyd; and 6 sisters, Evie, Mary, Ruth, Pearl, Georgia and Virginia.

Surviving are a son, William (Sandy) Kinney of Shadyside, Ohio; a daughter, Barbara Rataiczak of Cambridge, Ohio; 5 grandchildren, Thomas (April) Kinney of Grove City, Ohio, Michael (Hollie) Kinney of Pataskala, Ohio, Joshua (Patience) Kinney of Malaga, Ohio, Heather Rae (Aaron) Traver of Columbus, Ohio and Michael Paul (Christine) Rataiczak of Columbia, South Carolina; 12 great grandchildren, Jacob, Nate, Adlai, Grace, Louisa, Emma, Scarlett, Liam and Ava Traver, Amanda Kinney Emerald and Jarrett Kinney; many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg where services held on Wednesday at 11 a.m., with Rev. Darla Schnegg and Ray Benesh officiating. Burial will follow at Armstrong Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Valley Hospice or Armstrongs United Methodist Church or Centerville Senior Center.
