Ella June Church, 92, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died May 17, 2020 in Liza's Place, Wheeling, West Virginia.

She was born June 5, 1927 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, daughter of the late Joseph Albert Harris and Lillian Frances Boring Harris.

Ella June was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of the Lafferty Volunteer Fire Dept. Auxiliary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Lynn McAtee, and two brothers, Joseph and Charles Harris.

Surviving are her loving husband, Sanford W. Church Sr.; three children, June Ellen (John) Slupka of Tennessee, Kathy Webster of Wheeling, WV and Sanford W. (Betty) Church Jr. of St. Clairsville; a brother, Richard Harris of Louisiana; 9 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, private visitation will be for the family and close friends on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio where services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. with Louis Loveless officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens.
