Elizabeth Victoria Taylor, 78, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at her home. She was born January 31, 1947, in Wheeling, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Sherwood Fuhr and Geraldine Williams.
Elizabeth was a former Marriage and Family Therapist in California. She graduated with a Master’s Degree in Psychology from Chapman University. She was a member of the Clover First Baptist Church in Clover, South Carolina. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, watching game shows and was a lifelong fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a stepbrother, Paul Kloss; grandson, Cain John Hoffman and a granddaughter, Madison Taylor.
She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Michael Taylor, children, Charlene Violet, Terry (Tracy) Boyles, Heather Boyles, George (Michelle) Taylor and Scott (Crystal) Taylor; seven grandchildren, Victoria Mitchell, Ryan (Hannah) Hoffman, Steven Mitchell, Justin Hoffman, Noah (Xuan Xuan) Taylor, Olivia Taylor and Delilah Taylor; five great grandchildren, Willow, Ava, Maggie, Lily and Johnathan Hoffman; and two brothers, Brian and Henry (Josie) Kloss.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until time of funeral service at 3 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with Pastor Zach Rhodes officiating. A private burial will occur at The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date.
