Elizabeth “Liz” M. Sall, 99, of St. Clairsville, OH, died Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Belmont Manor Nursing Home. She was born January 23, 1927, in Martins Ferry, OH, a daughter of the late John and Antonina Kowalczyk Lojas.

Liz was a devoted homemaker, cherishing her role in life to caring for her home and family that was sustained throughout her life by her enduring Catholic faith.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Sall Sr., son, Edward A. Sall; daughter, Mary A. Durbin; four brothers, Walter, Victor, Albert and John Lojas; five sisters, Alice Zurek, Anna Lojas, Helen Duda, Nellie Polivka and Katherine Snodgrass; and a grandson, Derek Harding.

She is survived by her children, Joseph A. Sall Jr., Kenneth V. Sall, Angela Lantz, Kathleen (Wayne) Harding, and Lynn (Ken) Mike; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren; and son-in-law, Kevin Durbin

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 4-8 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1 pm with Pastor of Victory Baptist Chapel and Chaplain for Stonerise Hospice Murray Stafford officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
