Fox, Elizabeth E. (Meeker), age 86, of Gibsonia, PA, formerly of Rayland and St. Clairsville, OH, died on Thursday, October 11, 2007.

She was born February 3, 1921 in Martins Ferry, Ohio daughter of the late Raymond Meeker and Ora (Stead) Webb. She was a beloved wife for 45 years of the late Kenneth K. Fox, Sr.; a loving mother of Ken (Mickey Christakos) Fox of Plano, TX and Susan (David) Thomas of Richland Township, PA; a dear sister of Katherine Collige of St. Clairsville, OH; a loving grandmother of Kelly McGinley of Wheeling, WV, Stephanie Hoyt of Chicago, IL, Devin Thomas of Los Angeles, CA and Matthew Fox of Plano, TX; a loving great-grandmother of Steven, Zachary, Jason and Abby.

Elizabeth was a graduate of the former Martins Ferry School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse at the Martins Ferry, Shadyside, and Sewickley Hospitals for many years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Bridgeport Chapter #452, the Emmanuel Baptist Church in St. Clairsville, regularly attended the East Union Presbyterian Church, Cheswick, PA, and was past president of the Richland Garden Club, Gibsonia, PA.

The Fox family will welcome friends on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Services at the Schellhaas Funeral Home, Ltd., 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown, PA. Visitation will also be held on Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio. Services and interment will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio, with Rev. Gary Eller officiating.
