Elizabeth "Betty" Marx, 80 of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Monday, July 27, 2015 at the Carriage Inn of Cadiz.
She was born in Wheeling, West Virginia July 13, 1935 a daughter of the late Carmello and Ermina Orsine Monteleone.
Betty was an employee of the Y & O Coal Company for 40 plus years and attended East Richland Friends Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Marx; brothers Frank and Tony Monteleone and a sister Ann Monteleone.
She is survived by sisters, Mary Carlier of Adena, OH and Cathy (John) Zingo of Martins Ferry; a brother Carmello (Emma) Monteleone of Hopedale, OH; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and one great great niece.
Family and friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville, OH on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. where services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Jerry Wenger. Burial will follow in Belmont County Memorial Park.
