Kopyar, Elizabeth V. Libby, 85, of Glencoe Rd., Belmont, Ohio, died Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at home.
She was born June 9, 1925 in Jacobsburg, Ohio, daughter of the late John W. and Bessie E. Weekley Sawyers.
Libby was a homemaker, a member of Glencoe American Legion Auxiliary, the Powhatan VFW Auxiliary and the Glencoe Senior Citizens.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. Kopyar; two brothers, Frank and Robert Sawyers; and three sisters, Nora Hudson, Mary Lee Ellen Sawyers and Freda Burdine.
Surviving are her nephew and niece, J.D. and Margie McMahon with whom she resided and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and her beloved friend Butterscotch.
Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, Ohio on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m., where services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m., with Pastor Larry Helms officiating. Burial will follow in Jacobsburg Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Valley Hospice, 10686 State Route 150, Rayland, Ohio 43943.
