Elizabeth Kirkland, 92 of Lockwood Run Rd., Bellaire, Ohio died Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at Wheeling Hospital.
She was born at Key, Ohio on November 7, 1914 a daughter of the late Colvin Ambler McFadden and Emma Louise Keith McFadden.
Elizabeth was a member of the Old Wegee United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and Weyer Chapter #515 Order of Eastern Star at Centerville.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul B. Kirkland in 1987; brothers Henry, Herman and Bill McFadden and sisters Martha McFadden and Sylvia Montgomery.
She is survived by sons, Charles Paul (Bonny) Kirkland of Carrollton, Ohio and Samuel Joseph Kirkland of Woodstock, Illinois; a daughter Bette Irene (Raymond) Day of Jacobsburg, Ohio; a brother, Charles (Valgene) McFadden of Jacobsburg; 9 grandchildren Hope Fowler, Darla (Robert) Carrick, Stewart Kirkland, James (Amy) Day, Rebecca (DeWayne) Chessman, Richard Day, Samuel (Angie) Kirkland, Lynn Kirkland and Matthew Kirkland; 9 great grandchildren Roshelle and Jeremiah Fowler; Bobby, Cassie, Holly and Bryan Carrick; Kayla and Abby Day and Shanyia Kirkland.
Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg, Ohio on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where Eastern Star services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Larry Helms officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
