Eleanor Gillespie McGrew, 97 formerly of Sunset Drive, St. Clairsville died Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at the Hodges Continuous Care Center, Wheeling.
She was born at Shepherdstown, Ohio on July 5, 1907 a daughter of the late William C. and Elizabeth Williams Gillespie.
Eleanor was a homemaker and a member of Thoburn United Methodist Church at St. Clairsville.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William McGrew in 1966.
She is survived by many friends including Jim and Frankie Carnes and family of St. Clairsville.
Friends will be receive from 11 a.m. to time of services at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with Pastor Edward D. Eberhart officiating. Burial will follow in the Unity Cemetery, New Athens.
