Obituary
HICKS, Eleanor M., 83, of Holloway, died Saturday, August 20, 2011 at home.
She was born October 15, 1927 in Wheeling, WVa., daughter of the late Guiseppe "Joe" and Sarah A. DiMeglio Aprea.
Eleanor was a homemaker and a Catholic by faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul M. Hicks; a brother, Neal; five sisters, Anna, Carmella, Sylvia, Josephine and Sandy.
She is survived by a son, Don Hicks of Holloway; a daughter, Linda Ruckh of Wheeling, WVa; a granddaughter, Yolanda Bruce of Wheeling, WVa; two great granddaughters, Jessica and Megan Bruce.
Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. with Father Frederick Kihm officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Hill Cemetery, Flushing.
