Eleanor Jean Brown, age 67, of Wegee Road, Shadyside, died Monday, May 9, 2005 at Wheeling Hospital.
She was born July 29, 1937 in Shadyside, Ohio, daughter of the late George W. and Helen Heath Williams.
Eleanor Jean was a retired employee from City Hospital in Bellaire and City Restaurant in Bellaire. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Shadyside.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Brown; and two brothers, Richard and H. David Williams.
Surviving are her husband, James L. Brown; two sons, James Lee (Lisa) Brown of Shadyside and George Brown at home; three daughters, Tammy (Dave) Mathews, Trudy Brown and Tina Brown all of Shadyside; two brothers, Russell (Carol) Williams and Steve (Cindy) Williams all of Shadyside; three sisters, Sandra Davis and Linda (Charles) Brown all of Shadyside and Lois (Roger) Martin of Bellaire; 5 grandsons, James Logan Brown, Josh Mathews, Eric Mathews, Colby Mathews and Troy Fulton; and 3 granddaughters, Karissa Brown, Jamie Brown and Dakota Brown.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, where services will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2005 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Dennis Hancock officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery, Centerville.
