Eldon Leroy Underwood, 60, of Shadyside, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Wheeling Hospital. He was born May 1, 1964, in Bellaire, Ohio, a son of the late Louis Edward and Martha Ann Helsley Underwood.

He was a former employee of Ponzani Lawn Maintenance Service in St. Clairsville. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, rodeos, and demolition derbies.

Eldon is survived by his loving wife, Beth A. Ronevich Underwood of Shadyside, Ohio; his children, Shane M. (Carla) Underwood of Jacobsburg, Ohio, Michael L. (Koree Kiger) of Moundsville, West Virginia, Leeann V. (Isiah) Anderson of Moundsville, West Virginia, Christopher A. (Lisa) Underwood of St. Clairsville, Ohio, James L. (Keeley) Underwood of Alledonia, Ohio, and Josephine J. Underwood of Shadyside, Ohio, Candice M. Bell of Barnesville, Ohio, and Kayla M. (Josh) Daughtery of Stafford, Ohio; two brothers, Louis "Bud" (Kathy) Underwood of Jacobsburg, Ohio, John (Sherrie) Underwood of Jacobsburg, Ohio; three sisters, Darla (Roger) Sickles of Coshocton, Ohio, Tammy Haines of Jacobsburg, Ohio, and Noreen (Mark) Brunner of Jacobsburg, Ohio; as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received on Friday from 2 p.m. until time of funeral services at 6 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg with Pastor Jack Palmer officiating. Final arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family.
