Elaine Kidder, 65 of St. Clairsville, Ohio died unexpectedly on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Wheeling Hospital.

She was born October 9, 1955 in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the late Emory G. Kidder and Edna Carson Kidder.

Elaine was a former employee of G&C Foundry in Sandusky, Ohio, Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel in Follansbee, WV and Beacon House in St. Clairsville. She was a member of the Church of Christ in St. Clairsville.

Surviving are two sisters, Linda (Clyde) Carpenter and Louise Craft of St. Clairsville; a brother, Nelson (Reda) Kidder of Versailles, Kentucky; she was beloved aunt to 7 nieces and nephews, Amy McCumsey, Molly Walton, Maizee Bunner, Mandee Craft, Michael, David, and Chris Kidder; a special brother-in-law, Clyde Carpenter whom she referred to as dad; and a special aunt, Ann Milleson of Freeport, Ohio.

Due Covid-19 strict masking and distancing policies will be enforced on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville with Everett Hutson officiating. Burial follows in Minksville Cemetery in Cadiz, Ohio with Richard Walton officiating.
